TE’s medical business is seeking a Product Marketing Analyst to join our marketing team. TE Connectivity provides medical device technologies for surgical, imaging, and interventional medicine specialising in access, delivery and visualization solutions. Every minute, over 120+ patients are treated with a medical device containing a TE technology. We are a trusted design, development and manufacturing partner to the world’s leading medical device companies.

 

As a member of the Global Medical Marketing team, the Product Marketing Analyst is responsible for the planning and execution of the marketing activities for their assigned portfolio, reporting directly to the medical BU marketing leader. Working independently, with support of their Manager, this role will be responsible for analysing marketing requirements and creating and deploying marketing programs that drive awareness and demand for products and technologies according to budget and business need .


The Product Marketing Analyst will drive awareness and demand for our products, technologies and solutions by working collaboratively with sales, product management, strategy and marketing partners. The initial focus of the role will be on driving growth across our medical polymer portfolio including specialist tubing and medical balloons, expanding reach to adjacent & complimentary portfolios over time. The Product Marketing Analyst will be responsible for generating customer demand through strategic GTM planning and deployment of compelling marketing programs that drive clear and measurable results. The polymer product portfolio covers new product introductions (NPI) and legacy product solutions.

Long Description

 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the work they do, be analytical and business-minded with the ability to create  business focused marketing plans and execute program elements that will drive marketing activities for both short- and long-term business objectives. Success in this role depends upon the ability to build strong relationships with senior colleagues,  and the ability to creatively articulate the business value of products and technologies as well as adapt marketing goals or objectives according to business need.

 

•Leverage TE’s TEOA product marketing framework across the full polymer tubing portfolio to include strategy development with product managers and engineering, development of product briefs, devising GTM strategy and plans, content development, campaign planning, launch and ongoing reporting.
•Create and execute a comprehensive integrated marketing plan from concept to final execution to drive key product introductions and existing product sales for all products within the portfolio
•Ensure TE is effectively bringing products to both our internal (sales) and external (client) customers by taking ownership for the launch planning and go-to-market process
•Ensuring all market-facing communications deliver clear, compelling, differentiated messages that drive customer engagement and response with a particular focus on any regional communication activities linked to investment within the polymers portfolio
•Working with Product Managers and Engineers to tell the TE/BU product story, leveraging insights from direct VOC and buyer journey mapping activities.
•Conduct competitive analysis across the polymer tubing portfolio
•Working with internal and external creative resources to develop videos, print advertisement, presentations, brochures, etc. that result in lead generation and product sales
•Work closely with integrated marketing and marketing operations teams to implement campaigns and report effectiveness for online, offline tactics and events.
•Where required within the portfolio, integrate channel partners marketing programs into all product marketing plan by collaborating with Channel Marketing and Sales organizations around the world
•Conduct GTM training with internal teams across product management, sales and engineering.
•Define, measure and report on the return of all demand marketing activities and investments

 

 

Long Description

 

•Communicate with Product Managers, engineering and senior management on key product development and updates
•Manage product launches and account capture marketing plans through marketing automation technologies such as Salesforce.com and Eloqua
•Communicate with sales team to identify market trends and the competitive landscape, working to build comprehensive market insights and VOC for the assigned portfolio
•Attending selected trade shows to understand and view competitive information and new technologies.  Identify / analyse trade show & customer event opportunities, develop trade show/customer event strategies and lead teams to develop event content and marketing materials.
•Execute strong and sustainable lead generation, eCommerce and customer-oriented programs
•Manage assigned budget in line with plan, reporting on budget effectiveness across portfolio

 

What your background should look like:

 

•Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing or related field.
•At least 7 years marketing experience in technology based B2B marketing with expertise in product marketing / product management including a demonstrated ability to produce effective strategies and creative marketing materials desirable.
•Experience in B2B, medical devices, healthcare or life-sciences as part of a multi-national business preferred.
•Strong business acumen with experience and understanding of analytics that drive market strategy and campaign effectiveness.
•Demonstrable experience in developing strong, clear and measurable marketing strategies, goals and plans that are aligned with those of the company.
•Proven track record in working with technical teams to translate technology to differentiated solutions, consistent with the needs of customers.
•Experience with the full marketing mix including direct marketing, web/digital marketing, media planning and advertising, and collateral production. Must demonstrate strong digital marketing acumen and expertise in complex global B2B environments.
•Ability to learn sales and marketing systems such as SalesForce.com, Eloqua and Adobe suites.
•Excellent written and oral communications skills.
•An expert communicator with the ability to articulate business strategies and technical concepts both in written and verbal form.
•Experience working with vendors – agencies, editors, photographers, designers, printers – including negotiations and project supervision. Strong project management skills.
•Previous experience working internationally a strong plus.
