Your Role

  • This position is responsible for the safe production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing environment. 
    1st Shift 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday 
    2nd Shift 3:30pm - 12:00am, Monday - Friday 
    Saturday Overtime is required for our Assembly Positions.
    •Ensure that required job documentation for line operations is accurate and current.
    •Follows all safety guidelines and policies and promotes safety adherence across all line operations. 
    •Follows all applicable procedures, product specifications, quality and cleanroom policies.
    •Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance line production operations and processes to assure the quality of all products.
    •Positively embodies and supports the company’s policies and procedures.
    •Has a strong sense of personal accountability, conflict resolution, collaboration and flexibility.
    •Be able to clearly communicate both written and orally any ideas, problems, and solutions to all levels of manufacturing management.
    •Maintain accurate quality records and documentation to ensure all parts are traceable and quality issues can be addressed
    •Willingness to engage in cross training to maintain flexibility and adaptability.
    •Ability to inspect work-in-process to documented quality standards to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
    •Desire and ability to learn skills on the job in a fast-paced environment. 
    •Supports and promotes a respectful workplace. 

*Saturday Overtime is required for our Assembly Positions.

Required Qualifications

•Troubleshoot and make complex adjustments and repairs. This would include: major adjustments and changeovers (e.g., bend stations, insertion stations) replacing sensors, punches, dies and adjusting housing feed.
•Operate assigned automated assembly machines, stock components, identify and re-set machine faults, clear jams, restart production, remove and package finished product. Perform changeovers and setups including tooling adjustment, pin out, keying features and feed adjustment based on associated standards.
•Perform quality checks per the quality inspection plan (QIP). Document specified measurements per print at required intervals using, height indicator, ram optic, gages as well as completing visual checks under a microscope.
•Complete traceability log, repair log, pro job ticket and scrap form. Report completed production.
•Conduct 5S – Housekeeping and organization.  Remove and empty scrap collectors as required.  Remove trash.
•Assist shift Group Leader as assigned with machine assignment and other various tasks.
•Perform daily/weekly/monthly preventive maintenance. - Train other employees on changeovers and adjustments.
•Prioritize work assignments to ensure that production continues
•Perform all other work related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • No prior assembly experience required- we will train you!
  • Experience and/or training in using a microscope in assembly
  • Basic computer skills
