University Relations Recruiter - REMOTE

Job Overview

TE's Talent Acquisition teams evaluate TE's ability to recruit and select the desired employees and develop, implement and monitor the programs and processes used in recruitment and selection. They source, recruit, screen, interview and recommend external and/or internal candidates to staff open requisitions. They also utilize the services of employment agencies and/or place employment ads in appropriate sources, including the intranet, Internet and print media.
The teams are responsible for developing and implementing recruiting plans and administering talent management efforts and employee referral programs, managing the resume tracking system and ensuring consistent corporate image throughout recruiting campaigns.

What You'll Be Doing....

Be a knowledgeable subject matter expert and partner; serving as a trusted advisor on the team
o Demonstrating business acumen, partnering on strategies, and delivering top early
career talent across segments and business units.
o Providing regular communication with business stakeholders on intern hiring progress
for segments.
o Partnering with hiring managers and HR Business Partners, to meet/exceed hiring goals
and maintain on target recruiting deadlines.
 Manage full cycle recruiting for our early career programs including internships and rotation
programs. Deliverables include but are not limited to:
o Reviewing job requisition submissions; scheduling intake calls and managing job
descriptions in collaboration with business stakeholders.
o Sourcing candidates via LinkedIn, Handshake and D&I job boards and by leveraging
relationships with our partner universities and national diversity organizations.
o Reviewing and evaluating recommended university recruit resumes obtained via virtual
and in-person diversity and campus outreach events to build early career and internship
candidate pipeline.
o Screening/interviewing and recommending candidates for hiring manager review.
o Creating and extending job offers, managing offer decisions and debriefs.
o Support intern new hire onboarding and Day One Orientation.
 Manage Intern to Full Time Conversion Process and Intern, Conversion, and Rotational keep warm
 Ensure an exemplary candidate and hiring manager experience through top-tier communication
and timely feedback, as well as interviewer preparedness and effective interview formatting.
 Facilitate culture of accountability with intern hiring and onboarding by partnering with UR
Specialist, UR Manager, HR Services, HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to ensure all
intern timelines are adhered to including:
o Workforce Planning requests
o Job description submission
o Hiring approvals
o Job postings on careers page, Handshake, and other job boards.
 Plan and contribute to university relations project teams to proactively recruit with
comprehensive and leading-edge recruiting and sourcing techniques.
 Travel to, attend and support career events and conferences as needed.

What your background should look like:

•    Bachelor’s degree required plus 3+ years of experience; 1+ years in high volume recruiting with
•    a focus on early career and/or university recruitment.
•    Experience in end to end, full cycle candidate recruitment and job requisition management
•    including intake, identification, interview preparation, compensation negotiation, and debriefs.
•    Demonstrated experience using applicant tracking systems.
•    Experience conducting sourcing via social recruiting, networking, and leveraging university
•    recruiting methodologies.
•    Solid interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain internal/external relationships
•    while effectively communicating with different individuals and audiences with various
•    backgrounds and levels of experience.
•    Exceptional oral and written communication skills – with focus on customer service.
•    Teamwork oriented, self-directed with a high level of initiative and strong work ethic.
•    Strong organizational and time management skills.
•    Detail oriented and results driven.
•    Ability to travel within the United States up to 25% (as local and national travel
•    recommendations permit).
•    Nice to Haves:
•    Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, Handshake, Yello and other CRM software.
•    Previous experience working for an Industrial Technology and Manufacturing organization
•    Experience in early career and internship recruiting for different functional
