University Relations Administrator - REMOTE

Job Overview

TE's Talent Acquisition teams evaluate TE's ability to recruit and select the desired employees and develop, implement and monitor the programs and processes used in recruitment and selection. They source, recruit, screen, interview and recommend external and/or internal candidates to staff open requisitions. They also utilize the services of employment agencies and/or place employment ads in appropriate sources, including the intranet, Internet and print media.
The teams are responsible for developing and implementing recruiting plans and administering talent management efforts and employee referral programs, managing the resume tracking system and ensuring consistent corporate image throughout recruiting campaigns.

What You'll Be Doing....

Consistently provide prompt communication with business partners and candidates to
ensure an exemplary experience with TE.
o This includes all candidate interaction/correspondence, scheduling, reference
checks, screening, marketing, travel arrangements, and pre-onboarding.
• Assist UR TA team to facilitate culture of accountability with intern hiring and
onboarding by partnering with HR Services, HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers
to ensure all intern timelines are adhered to including:
o Workforce Planning requests
o Job description submission
o Hiring approvals
• Work with Candidates and Hiring Managers to ensure new hire onboarding
requirements are completed prior to start; including but not limited to:
o Completion of required pre-hire forms
o Assignment of Network ID’s
o Badging
o Equipment Orders
• Support UR Specialist with intern program (spring & summer)
o Assist with Intern Day One orientation
o Assist with events & National Intern Day Celebration
o Speaker scheduling and coordination
• Support UR Recruiters with managing UR Intern Requisitions during high volume
recruiting period (fall & winter) by carrying a small req load.
• Manage UR Scorecard by tracking and reporting metrics for the university relations
recruiting efforts (i.e. ATS Utilization, intern program success, career fair traffic and
Source ROI, time to accept, diversity, Partner University Effectiveness, etc.)
• Manage stakeholder contact information with our university partners including career
services personnel, program facility and student organization advisors.
• Occasionally attend and support at career events and conferences as needed.

What your background should look like:

•    Bachelor’s Degree required.
•    1+ years of work experience as a Recruiter, HR/Recruiting Coordinator, HR/Recruiting
•    Assistant, or junior HR Generalist.
•    Proven HR/Recruiting administrative experience
•    Highly proficient computer skills (Office 365 & MS Office programs)
•    Experience using an Applicant Tracking System
•    Exceptional oral and written communication skills – with focus on customer service.
•    Ability to work effectively in a global and matrix environment.
•    Teamwork oriented, self-directed with a high level of initiative and strong work ethic.
•    Robust problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
•    Strong organizational and time management skills.
•    Detail oriented and results driven.
•    Demonstrated process and project management ability.
•    Quick learner and adaptive to change.
•    Ability to travel on an occasional basis.

•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
