Job Overview

As a Program Manager for the Aerospace, Defense, and Marine Business Unit, you will be expected to provide structure, cadence, execution and change management to all Commercial  priorities. In partnership with the Commercial Excellence Leader and Human Resources, you will also be responsible for supporting the people development aspect of program management to build capability across the Commercial organization.

 

 

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).   Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.  

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategy Execution – Identify, resource, execute, and embed the necessary projects and processes to be able to deliver our strategy plan

 

  • Project identification and facilitation
  • Leading Commercial projects and initiatives directly

 

Executive Communications – Prepare executive-level updates as needed to report on initiatives, functional progress, and business performance

 

  • Collect inputs from cross-functional partners for concise, comprehensive messaging across all levels of the organization
  • Continuous Improvement (TE Operating Advantage) – Process improvement from ideation to execution, including change management support for all initiatives

 

Lead continuous improvement project work across the Commercial teams in partnership with Commercial Excellence

 

  • Kaizen facilitation as appropriate
  • Misc. Support

 

Provide support to the Commercial Excellence team as needed in support of the Commercial organization’s best practice alignment

 

  • Serve as an internal consultant across the Commercial organization
  • Partner with HR in support of talent development across projects

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in program management, project management, or related field
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience in a heavily matrixed, global organization
  • Previous experience with executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver results
  • Excellent written and communication skills; Ability to work and drive consensus with a diverse functional team
  • Proficiency in standard reporting/presentation tools and data analysis
  • SAP and SalesForce a plus

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience:$107,120 - $160,680 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
