Role Objective

The above position has been created to lead a team of Engineers and Technician in the Operations team to functions to achieve the production target with cost, quality and delivery performance with ensuring safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to lead a team of engineers and technicians for delivering the production target with cost, quality and delivery performance with ensuring safety requirements. Also Supervise daily operations, manage staff, plan schedules, and maintain equipment.
• Able to troubleshoot the plating lines operational and quality issues
• Able to handle the Preventive Maintenance activities of plating line and supporting equipment infrastructures
• Design, implement, and improve electroplating processes (e.g., Nickel, Zinc, Gold) for efficiency, yield, and quality.
• Monitor critical parameters, conduct inspections, analyze data (SPC, Cpk), and troubleshoot defects/root causes.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to environmental regulations, manage hazardous materials, and implement safety protocols.
• Technical Support: Provide technical expertise, support new product introductions, and interface with vendors.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records, process data, and reports. 

Critical Experience

• 8+ years of experience working in medium or large matrix organizations. 
• Experience in Barrel plating, reel to reel, electroless and Vibratory plating for various metals Gold, Palladium, Copper, Nickel, Tin, Silver and Lead.
• Experience in operations and preparations of gold and precious metal recovery Units.
• Good knowledge in plating process parameters to optimize the production and enhance the quality
• Operating knowledge of  ETP, RO System, Zero discharge Technology and Chemical and Physical Labs for Plating plant
• Preferable knowledge  in chemical analysis, inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES), UV, XRF Analysis

Education and Knowledge

• Technical Degree B.E – Chemical
• Masters in Technical would be an added advantage
