Job Overview

Lead new product development, localization, and project execution from concept to mass production. Ensure robust manufacturing readiness through tooling, equipment, layout, and process implementation across stamping, plating, molding, and assembly operations. Drive cross‑functional collaboration to meet cost, quality, and launch targets.

Job Requirements

  • Lead new project development from definition to mass production, ensuring cost, quality, and launch objectives are met.
  • Apply strong engineering knowledge across stamping, plating, molding, and assembly processes.
  • Manage localization and product transfer projects from affiliates.
  • Develop project plans, input TE/APQP data, and monitor milestones to ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare business cases on capability, capacity, tooling, and equipment requirements.
  • Coordinate sample builds, Run@Rate, and tooling readiness for customer qualification.
  • Resolve project‑related issues with cross‑functional teams and suppliers.
  • Stay current with new technologies, materials, and industry trends to improve product/process capability.
  • Support IATF16949 and ISO14000 programs and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement, Kaizen, and IE‑related initiatives.

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Industrial, Process, Production, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 3–10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2–5 years of experience in project management, new product launch, or automotive projects.
  • Knowledge of SAP, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, VDA 6.3, and IATF16949.
  • Strong leadership, communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with tooling, equipment implementation, layouts, process improvement, and lean/Kaizen.
  • Understanding of project cost control and profitability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD; SAP is an advantage.
