Job Overview

This position is for Product Manager IV within the Automotive E-mobility team. This role acts as a “mini-GM” for the product line, with ownership of product strategy, business performance, and lifecycle execution.

This role requires strong cross-functional leadership across Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing to drive growth, profitability, and competitive positioning. The position is accountable for achieving revenue and gross margin targets and delivering long-term portfolio success.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Market Sensing & Strategy Development

  • Lead analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to define product strategy
  • Partner with R&D and operations to align new product development with market requirements
  • Manage product lifecycle strategy, including portfolio optimization and growth initiatives

 

Develop Business Plan & Data Analysis

  • Lead development and execution of the Product Line Business Plan (PBP)
  • Align cross-functional teams on sales, technology, and operational goals
  • Analyze market and business data to drive decisions and identify growth opportunities
  • Define and implement pricing strategies aligned with profitability objectives

 

Execution – New Product Development, Post-Launch

  • Own the P&L for the assigned portfolio to deliver sustained profitable growth
  • Drive business case development and support key decision gates
  • Partner with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and commercialization
  • Oversee demand forecasting and alignment with S&OP
  • Lead pricing and quoting strategy to ensure competitiveness and profitability
  • Partner with finance and procurement on cost models and margin optimization
  • Monitor product performance and drive improvements in revenue, margin, and operations

What your background should look like:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, sales, business development, or related fields
  • Experience in Automotive E-mobility or related industries preferred
  • 4-year technical or business degree required
  • Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant P&L experience preferred
  • 10-25% travel

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $139,300 – $174,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
