The Downstream Product Manager is responsible for driving the commercial success of products from market introduction through the full product lifecycle. This role focuses on bringing products effectively to market, increasing product visibility and adoption, enabling sales channels, strengthening customer relationships, and maintaining product competitiveness over time

Key Responsibilities
Lead product launch and go-to-market (GTM) strategies to drive successful market adoption.
Develop and execute marketing and promotional initiatives to increase product awareness, customer engagement, and sales performance.
Support and enable sales teams through product training, sales tools, competitive insights, and customer-facing materials.
Design and deliver product training programs for internal teams, channel partners, distributors, and customers.
Manage distribution channels and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure product availability and market reach.
Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and drive product improvements.
Support the development and optimization of pricing strategies to maximize profitability and competitiveness.
Monitor product performance metrics, including revenue, sales growth, profitability, market share, and customer adoption.
Manage the full product lifecycle, from launch through maturity and end-of-life, ensuring continued market relevance and business success.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other stakeholders to achieve commercial objectives and drive portfolio growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience in product management, product marketing, commercial management, sales, or a related customer-facing role.
Demonstrated experience supporting product launches and go-to-market activities.
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and commercial performance.
Ability to analyze sales, customer, market, and competitive data and translate insights into actionable plans.
Experience working effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance customer needs, competitive dynamics, and business objectives
