Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. O

We are looking for a Quality assistant who works closely with manufacturing, engineering, production and quality members in our Production Pratteln.  

What your background should look like:

Responsibilities:

  • Drive PPAP planning and execution for our automotive customers
  • Deliver a superior customer experience 
  • Review relevant quality KPI's 
  • Audit, design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data
  • Contribute/lead new equipment, products, or processes validations
  • Support for the production in case of internal PPM reduction, COPQ reduction etc…
  • Participate to the analysis of scrapped parts and propose improvements
  • Participate / Lead production audits and help building improvement plans

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (electronics preferred)
  • Min. 3 years of relevant practical work experience in the fields of quality, continuous improvement or manufacturing engineering 
  • Knowledge of basis quality tools (5Why, Ishikawa, 8D etc.), Working Knowledge of SPC, Capability Analysis, Gage R&R and Statistical Techniques
  • Quality auditor experience/certification is a plus
  • Advanced in English both verbal and written – German is a plus
  • Occasional travels may be required inside Europe
