Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Development Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule,perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. After design and process stability has been verified, R&D/Product Development Technicians will engage in production transfer activities. This role complies to FDAQSR (21 CFR 820), ISO 13485 requirements and adheres to the Quality Management System(QMS).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Will be trained on semi-automated laser weld and laser cutting systems
  • Able to read and write CNC programs
  • Able to use CAD software (preferably Creo)
  • Able to inspect parts through a microscope for prolonged periods of time
  • Able to read and complete documentation (record visual inspections, and mathematical terms.)
  • Support Engineering
  • Able to calculate numbers to the 4th decimal place (.0001)(Mostly adding and subtracting

 

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. There is need for ability to do some assembly under a microscope using tweezers to hold the parts.

What your background should look like:

  • 2 year technical degree; or two years in related discipline experience in medical device industry.
  • Medical Device manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read and interpret CNC programs,
  • Ability to read and interpret Component Prints
  • Ability to read and write operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Experience with laser processes such as cutting or welding is desired
  • Proficiency with Microsoft desktop environment: Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $46,400 - $69,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
