Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Sales and Marketing Teams are responsible for the sales and marketing of TE's products, systems or services including sales oriented activities, market development and communications.

Responsibilities & Qualifications: 


Responsibilities: -
Channel Development
1.    Maintain existing channels (Power Utilities & Distributors); spec in new products with Power Utilities engineering; introduction of new products & documents to Power Utilities engineering office to get Product Certification to grow sales revenue.

Sales Activities
1.    Prepare sales plan, monthly rolling forecasting and project reports for assigned market to achieve sales revenue target.
2.    Lead major projects and tender for new projects with Technical Support; execute sales strategy to achieve booking, billing performance & profit margin (price erosion target)
3.     Maintain a regular sales call schedule to management team, Key Engineering, Planning, Purchasing & Training school to maintain long term business relationship.
4.    Manage & Align distributor to cover the key markets set by the management.
5.    Compile, analyze & implement appropriate pricing strategies & structures to ensure we optimized both profitability & our competitive position.]
Customer Relationships
1.    Take the lead to monitor the internal sales order function to ensure timely response to customers & distributors enquiries.
2.    Achieve accuracy in Demand Forecast to ensure timely delivery of products as per required lead times.


Technical Support       
1.    Support & Conduct Product training to Power Utilities, Distributors, OEMs' & Consultants to provide awareness on product capabilities.
2.    Undertake basic failure analysis and general product related trouble shooting to identify the roof caused for failure and provide solutions.


Marketing Activities
1.    Maintain market awareness; collect updated market information, evaluate opportunities and new technology development trends by conducting roadshow, seminar, channel update trainings to improve brand ranking and promote new products.
2.    To stay abreast with competition in the industry to be able to provide customers' requirement.


People Management & Development
1.    Allocate and balance work across direct reports; review and provide timely performance feedback to direct reports; mentor; develop and motivate them; and resolve people/functional issues to achieve targeted department performance.



Qualifications: -
• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of Electrical Utility Business experiences.
• Knowledge in people development skills.
• Good communication in both written and oral for English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good verse knowledge in Power & Utilities products.
