Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents.

At our head office in Ottobrunn, with around 750 employees, we produce heat shrinkable hoses and cold-applied products. The goods distribution center consists of a fully automated high-rack warehouse with 11,000 pallet places and a kit center, which are operated around the clock.

Working Student for Manufacturing Controlling (m/f)



We are looking for a Working student position Manufacturing/Plant Controlling to be part of the operational Controlling team of TE Connectivity Energy. The role will be expected to produce timely and accurate financial information and provide business relevant consulting.  This position will be located in Ottobrunn, Germany and offers the opportunity to develop an interesting career in a multi-national manufacturing organization.

Responsibilities & Qualifications


           Job Description:


  • Analysis of capital expenditure requests
  • Support in Weekly/Monthly costing, including annual cost roll.
  • Prepare Financial report for month end close, analysis of variances
  • Cost control, track spend and follow up on variances.
  • Maintain and update dataset of plant performance figures and KPI.
  • Support in preparation Monthly Operational review
  • Maintain and develop forecasting models within Company deadlines
  • Prepare, analyse and present results and forecasts
  • Support in preparation Budget, Audits internal and external
  • Support/backup for inventory accounting
  • Support on ad-hoc analysis, pro-actively identify Business performance gap, and propose gap closing measure.




  • Advanced study of Business Administration (main focus on finance and controlling)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, experience with SAP is a plus
  • Demonstrates problem solving abilities with an emphasis on strategic thinking, teamwork, and results-driven implementation
  • Very good quantitative, analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Good communication skills to interact within different levels and functions of our organization to identify and solve problems, as well as improve and carry-out processes in support of the team’s responsibility
