TE Connectivity, Energy Business Unit is currently seeking an experienced Strategic Pricing Manager to lead the EMEA pricing function.  


You’ll work as part of our EMEA Commercial team with a strong link to Product Management. In this role you will leverage competitive insights to develop and implement a solid product / channel pricing strategy to maximize economic value for the Energy BU. Leveraging the market data, the Strategic Pricing Manager defines and implements processes and tools to drive consistency, effectiveness and efficiency in executing the strategy. This role requires good commercial skills to understand the right market pricing and drive new processes/tools to efficiently manage the customer price agreements. The EMEA Strategic Pricing Manager is responsible for developing and leading a team of Pricing Analysts to execute the pricing strategy.

Key Responsibilities & KPI's


  • Assess our current EMEA pricing practices across the different product lines, markets and sales channels vs competition
  • Build a value-based pricing strategy to defend our competitive differentiators
  • Use short- and long-term market and competitive insights to adopt and implement pricing strategies & price elasticity methods to optimize margins and revenue
  • Host annual pricing strategy meetings by collaborating with Product Management and other stakeholders to establish the annual pricing plan
  • Implement the data science-based price lists and set pricing guidelines to enable sales people to quote right at the customer
  • Optimize the use of tools available within TE to support the pricing related processes and help execute the pricing strategy
  • Drive the process to review impact and effectiveness of pricing implementation with Product Management, Sales and Finance teams to ensure consistent execution. This includes monthly reporting, ensure process compliance and explanation of key pricing metrics and margin analytics
  • Identify pricing improvements to support efficiency gains within TE operational functions
  • Develop and lead a team of Pricing Analysts to execute the pricing strategy


  • YoY Price Realization or Margin $ Improvement from price actions and strategies
  • Reduction of Price and Margin Variability/ Leakage across assigned Product Lines
  • Develop & Implement Book Prices and Achieve % Adoption
  • Achievement of Revenue & Margin targets 


  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field, eg Business, Economics, Finance
  • Critical and strategic thinker 
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and influence change within global and cross functional teams
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Pricing function
  • Ability to define strategy and drive execution through a team
  • Data-driven, analytical & process mindset
  • System-savvy; experience in SAP and Pricing systems is a plus
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English
  • Flexibility to assume workloads which necessitate adjustment of priorities
  • Working knowledge of LEAN/Continuous Improvement Tools
  • Understanding of TE’s product portfolio is a plus
  • Green Belt Certification is a plus
