Global Integrated Marketing Program Management, Event Marketing (f/m/d) - remote EMEA

Job Overview

The Global Integrated Marketing Program Specialist (f/m/d) is responsible for developing, managing and executing integrated marketing campaigns and communications programs for the Energy Business Unit (BU) across all media. This role will primarily be responsible for planning, managing, executing and reporting on live and virtual marketing events globally for the Energy Business Unit. These include large and medium-sized tradeshows and exhibitions, as well as seminars and webinars. She/he will also define and execute the go-to-market adaptation and activation of campaigns across the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa). These include localization of content, sales and distribution enablement, and paid media programs to help increase brand awareness, and drive demand generation and revenue growth. He/she will provide important customer insights from the region and contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing content.
The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, be self-directed and able to flawlessly execute on a variety of projects while partnering with multiple stakeholders. She/he will have experience working in an international, matrixed organization and will be expert at communicating in written, oral and digital forms. Fluency in English and German are required. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Trade show planning, budget management, execution, and post-event KPI reporting of around 15 medium and large tradeshows/ exhibitions globally.
  • Manage external creative agencies to develop booth designs and standard displays in line with corporate guidelines and support the evolution of these guidelines.
  • Act as a consultant to and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including other Marketing Team members, Product Management, Sales, and Distribution partner marketing teams.
  • Define and manage tradeshow vendor services for booth materials and promotional items for Sales teams in North America and Europe, ensure maintenance/ renewal of stocked items.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Marketing and local Sales and to define and execute Webinar Series program, including Go-To-Webinar management, promotion, and lead tracking.
  • Adapt global campaigns to local markets / languages in the EMEA region and execute across all media, including digital, print and video, to increase brand awareness, grow demand, enable sales and distributors and increase employee engagement.
  • Provide support across facilities as needed for building branding, signage, showroom and training center space. 
  • Define and track metrics linked to marketing success and, leveraging analytics and data-driven insights on marketing effectiveness, continuously adapt and improve messaging and campaigns to ensure they deliver the desired business results. 
  • Lead and/or support other marketing-related projects for the Energy BU or cross-BU as required.
  • Some travel required post-pandemic.
  • This role could be based either in Ottobrunn - Munich, Germany or Gevrey-Chambertin, France or remote in Europe

What your background should look like:

•    Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, marketing or communications
•    5+ years of integrated marketing experience in an international B2B or technology company with min. 3 years of live and virtual event marketing experience.
•    Highly skilled in project management and managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously while providing flawless execution.
•    Track record of developing and managing impactful campaigns across the marketing mix, from digital to print.
•    Experience providing direction to agencies and managing vendor relationships and budgets.
•    Fluent in English and German.
•    Experience with lead capture platforms (iCapture) and sales and marketing automation systems (such as Eloqua, SalesForce).
•    Experience with Adobe Marketing tools (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus.
•    You have an eye for three-dimensional designand a passion for hosting a successful event.
•    You’re able to work independently and multi-task without missing a detail.
•    You’re a collaborative team player who works effectively in an international matrix organization.
•    You’re a convincing communicator with compelling perspectives and knowledge of marketing and event trends and innovations.
