Your role as ​an Intern​ in the ​Aerospace Defense & Marine​ Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by: 

  • Supporting the development and execution of strategic operations priorities 
  • Driving projects that contribute to long term operations enablement of revenue growth  
  • Developing plans to bring best-in-class operating practices into AD&M  

 

Responsibilities 

  • At TE Connectivity, you’ll be part of a global collaborative culture where your innovative approach and actions have the potential to transform the world of tomorrow. In this role you’ll: 
  • Analyze strategic operations scenarios and trade-offs including Make vs. Buy decisions, footprint location decisions, and project prioritization tradeoffs 
  • Analyze past and current operations performance trends to determine priorities for long term strategic action 
  • Research trends in operations and supply chain including benchmarking best practices, emerging technologies, and process innovations 
  • Assist with preparation of management presentations on strategy topics 
  • Support project documentation, and facilitate communication across the operations team 

 

You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you: 

  • Have earned a high school diploma or GED 
  • Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a ​BA/BS or MA/MS​ Degree in ​Supply Chain​, ​Industrial Engineering​ or ​Related Major​ from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered). 
  • Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project in supply chain, manufacturing, operations management, industrial engineering, or continuous improvement 
  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Like to creatively solve problems using data and analytics 
  • Are intellectually curious and a self-starter 
  • Due to ITAR restrictions at many of our locations, candidates with US Citizenship are required
