Tasks and responsibilities
This Operations Strategy Senior Analyst will report to the Senior Director of Operations Strategy for the Industrial Solutions Segment and will collaborate closely with the Senior Managers of Operations Strategy for the segment.
This position can be based in India, with travel expected less than 25% of the time globally to meet colleagues and clients, attend industry events, etc.

As a member of the Industrial Solutions Operations Strategy team, you will contribute to our growth strategy, competitiveness, and operations performance by working on strategic decisions and key business issues. The end goal is to make operations the key reason we succeed in the market.
Responsibilities include:
- Support development of operations strategic plans.
- Effectively translate business requests into well-defined problems.
- Collaborates with the Segment and with the Business Unit teams to solve complex operations problems.
- Support the development of strategies and approaches to fulfill complex project assignments in creative and meaningful ways.
- Develop playbooks to leverage across the business.
- Analyze manufacturing and supply chain performance and underlying factors.
- Create analytical models to address business questions and translate outputs into clear observations.
- Develop problem fact base creation and synthesis into effective communications.
Preferred Background
- 3+ years of professional experience, with 1+ years working for a top-tier General Management Consulting Firm preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in the engineering field from top tier university preferred
- Master’s degree or another advanced degree from a top program preferred but not required
- Experience in operations – plan, source, make, deliver – concepts and best practices preferred, not required.
- Experience in strategy formulation and benchmarking for a complex organization is desired, not required.
- Experience in managing strategy and strategy implementation projects through their lifecycles is preferred, not required.
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle – with experience applying these skills in leading projects is preferred, not required.
- Industrials industry experience a plus
