Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

The MAINTENANCE ANALYST is responsible for the upkeep of maintenance records and reporting, financial obligations, requisitioning, preventative and corrective maintenance support, and general liaison for maintenance reconciliation.  Is responsible for the sourcing and engagement of external support agencies (contractors).  Makes recommendations and tracks progress of maintenance projects across the plant, providing assistance to keep the rest of the team engaged.  Ensures parts inventories are organized, up to date, and properly stocked.  Uses Excel to tie together all aspects of maintenance and provide analytical details on performance and spending.  Develops and updates documentation for modifications to machinery.

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

 

  • 1. Maintains work order process and flow, ensuring all maintenance actions are documented and logged.
  • 2. Keeps records of all financial obligations from past, current, and future projects.
  • 3. Reconciles open work orders and projects and liaises as needed between support departments to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • 4. Provides coverage for Preventative Maintenance actions, and continuously develops actions to ensure a robust and effective process is in place.
  • 5. Documents new and old maintenance actions, capturing troubleshooting steps and ensuring the most up-to-date information is contained.
  • 6. Uses VLOOKUP, COUNT and SUMIF, etc. formulas to perform analyses and tie data together into a presentable format.
  • 7. Works with Finance to requisition parts and source contractors, as well as ensure parts inventories remain stocked.
  • 8. Provides assistance to maintenance personnel and acts as a first responder for team projects and activities.
  • 9. Tracks tool inventories for the plant, ensuring that tools for both maintenance and production are in good order.
  • 10. Any additional duties that may support maintenance, EH&S, or production as necessary.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Computer skills required.  MS Office
  • Minimum 1 years of SAP preferred
  • US Citizen or US National Required
