Job Overview

The 3rd shift production supervisor oversees a team of 10 in the machine shop. Hours are 4am-4pm Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee

Responsibilities & Qualifications


  • Communicate with customers and suppliers to determine labor resources sufficient for meeting customer needs and ensure products are manufactured to meet customer expectations for safety, cost, quality, and delivery
  • Audit processes to ensure tools and equipment are calibrated in a timely manner, lot/job numbers are recorded correctly, and documents have the current revision and maintained to the TE Connectivity standard
  • Meet with direct reports to discuss projects, delegate work, facilitate production requirements, ensure consistency, and promote teamwork
  • Plan, direct, coordinate, and control the work methods, production, equipment, skill mix, and relationships within the department
  • Train employees on work policies, procedures, and TE operational standards
  • Interview and select candidates, conduct performance reviews, set individual employee development goals, and set team development goals
  • Develop team leads into effective leaders, trainers, and support resources for the department
  • Drive continuous improvement and report on metrics
  • Participate and lead Lean/Kaizen and operational excellence activities



  • Bachelors Degree is a plus
  • Management experience preferred
  • 5 years' experience in manufacturing/production
