Job Overview

This position contributes to increase customer satisfaction by improving delivery performance, lead times, reducing cost and inventory while operating in a safe and complaint environment.

He/she is in charge of the Logistics (inbound, outbound, export / import) and material management team making sure that the material flows are planned, coordinated and executed in a timely manner.


His/her main goal will be to implement a culture of lean management and continuous improvement with the Supply chain team to drive anticipation, process change and efficiency.


He/she is in charge of the SOP process for the site.


Qualified candidates will have experience in lean tool implementation and operating system, APICS certification will be differentiating factor


Organizational alignment/reporting line:

This position reports to the EMEA Supply Chain manager.


Responsibilities and Qualifications


Key Tasks:


  • Make sure MRP recommendations are executed by the vendor planning team and the production planning team to guarantee on time supply of material to satisfy customer demand
  • Follow execution of supplier deliveries and implement corrective actions with support of the purchasing team when deviations occur
  • Follow execution of production work center and implement corrective actions with plant manager with deviation occurs
  • Manage daily operations of the logistics teams in a safe and compliant manner
  • In charge of SOP process for the site (demand + capacity review + forecast to external vendors + recommendation to the site leadership team)
  • In charge of the monthly billing and inventory forecast. Implement corrective actions in case of deviation and report out to the regional team
  • Daily management of the material management team and the import / export team
  • Drive continuous improvement actions, ATO and Kanban implementation Lead time reduction
  • Train & provide support to his / her team members
  • Audit and standardize processes within his / her team to drive Supply Chain Excellence
  • Based on fundamental process of MRP type and SS review to drive inventory & PFO reduction. Work with EMEA plants and other sales regions to transfer and rebalance inventory to reduce PFO & obsoletes

What your background should look like:

Key Qualifications, Experiences and Knowledge:

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Engineering

and minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain management  

- On hand experience of lean manufacturing and Material replenishment and flow

- Skilled in data management, Excel, ERP system

- Leadership experience of a team (<20 people)

- Strong Project Management & Communication Skills

- Ability to influence others at all levels of the organization through collaboration

- Exhibits, drives and communicates a clear understanding of desired results

- Has clear vision and demonstrates the ability to learn, develop and deploy new ideas

- Can motivate/influence others to change

- German language
