Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.

  • Ensure the smooth and trouble free running of production with including various activities within the shift
  • Ensure production orders are fulfilled on time and in the correct quantities as well as the
  • delivery to the following locations
  • Organization and participation in improvement workshops (KAIZEN)
  • Leadership, development and motivation of employees
  • Monitoring and control of standards, quality, deadlines, tools
  • Carrying out employee appraisals and health talks
  • Optimization, maintenance and monitoring of machinery
  • Link between planning, production and process technology
  • Compliance with work safety and environmental regulations as well as order and cleanliness




  • Successfully completed skilled worker training in metal/electrical/plastics with continued master craftsman qualification.
  • Relevant experience of several years in the field of plastics processing
  • Sound knowledge of processes and workflows in production is absolutely essential
  • Willingness to work 3 shifts
  • Assertiveness, independence, communication and presentation skills
  • Confident appearance
  • Practical experience in the use of TEOA tools
  • Relevant SAP knowledge, knowledge of HYDRA desirable
  • Solid PC skills (MS Office applications)
  • Very good written and spoken German
  • English spoken and written
  • Training in radiation protection supervision
