Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents.

Responsibilities
  • Organisation of meetings, plant visits, internal GLT (Global Leadership Team) meetings, conference calls, roundtables and telepresence meetings
  • GLT sharepoint, prepare xELT presentation (action item taking during the weekly meeting, sending out minutes, collecting agenda points and setting up GLT calendar)
  • Organisation of candidate meetings
  • Travel arrangements (Visa, flight & hotel booking etc.) & Expanses
  • Administrate and maintain personnel data base for vacation
  • Stationery and IT equipment ordering via SAP, invoice handling
  • Contact person for all general internal TE visitors and external callers
  • Set up onboarding plan for new GLT/ELT joiners incl. IT set up and co-op with Facilities or other new joiners
  • Create PowerPoint presentations, Type, edit and proofread documents and correspondence
  • Prepare purchasing requisitions for the management team and staff using the internal purchase order system (SAP)
  • Support the filling of expenses; organize office and files
  • Provide overall office administration; ensure supplies & equip are available & maintained
  • Assist and provide coverage for other administrative assistants as needed
  • Able to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Responsibilities
  • Several years’ Experience in Executive Assistance
  • Very good communications Skills in English and German language
  • Strong hands-on mentality
  • Very strong organizational Skills, focused on Details
  • Self-organized and able to manage others
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Fluent German and English required
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite -- Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SAP experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience working independently, prioritizing work and handling simultaneous assignments with success and accuracy
  • Must be able to multi task and work well under pressure to meet deadlines in timely manner
