The Director of Product Management, Energy Medium Voltage & Terminations leads the global strategy, business performance, and lifecycle management of TE Connectivity's Medium Voltage Joints and Terminations portfolio. This role translates customer requirements, grid modernization trends, regional market demands, application insights, and technology advancements into a differentiated portfolio strategy and product roadmap. Partnering across Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and regional commercial organizations, the Director drives profitable growth, portfolio competitiveness, and market success on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global portfolio strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for the Medium Voltage Joints and Terminations business.
• Lead product lifecycle management activities, including portfolio optimization, roadmap governance, new product introductions, and commercialization efforts.
• Own business performance metrics including revenue growth, profitability, pricing strategy, cash generation, and working capital performance.
• Analyze customer needs, market trends, competitive dynamics, and technology developments to guide future portfolio investments and growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure successful execution of portfolio priorities and business objectives.
• Drive Voice of Customer initiatives and market intelligence efforts to strengthen product differentiation and customer outcomes.
• Lead and develop Product Managers and Senior Product Managers while building product management capabilities across the organization.
• Resolve global and regional business trade-offs and provide leadership across multiple functions and geographic regions to achieve strategic goals.

What your background should look like:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in product management, engineering, commercial strategy, marketing, or a related field, with responsibility for complex product portfolios.
• Strong experience developing product strategies, managing portfolio investments, and driving lifecycle governance in industrial or energy-focused markets.
• Demonstrated success leading global, cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
• Deep understanding of product commercialization, portfolio governance, pricing strategies, business case development, and market analytics.
• Strong business and financial acumen with a track record of delivering revenue growth, profitability improvements, and strategic business outcomes.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and leadership capabilities.
• Experience developing and coaching product management talent while fostering high-performing teams and strong decision-making processes
