Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents.

  • Type, edit and proofread English internal announcement, documents and correspondence
  • Create PowerPoint presentations
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings and schedules
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support
  • Arrange and coordinate complex domestic and regional travel arrangements
  • Manage sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Team player - assist and provide coverage for other executive assistants as needed
  • Support the vice president operations with selective project work

What your background should look like:

  • Working experience 5+ years in an administrative capacity; large corporation executive assistant experience preferred
  • Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills (English minimum at C2 level mandatory/German optional)
  • Must have strong Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing deadlines and priorities
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritize work and handle simultaneous assignments with success and accuracy
  • Good organisational and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Pro-active and responsive to customer (internal and external) requirements
  • High level of numeracy/attention to detail
  • Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
  • Have a professional and flexible approach
  • Ability to present self and confidently represent the company in a professional manner
