Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is the accountable person for a number of strategic accounts in the European territory for the Defence Industry such as Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW), Rheinmetall, Thyssen Krupp (HDW) and their SubCon resp cooperation partner e.g. Hensoldt, Thales, Collins Aerospace.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Focusing onto defense aerospace, ground defense, defense marine systems e.g. weapon-sys, avionic-sys, mission-control-sys, communication-sys and new technology market in Germany as an expert and drive the TE EMEA defense team cooperation. Revenue Responsibility >$10M
  • Managing all aspects at a customer targeting maximum revenue, account penetration and customer satisfaction including developing the account strategy, account planning and relationship management as well as promotion activities or project management tasks. 
  • Detecting and realizing new opportunities/projects and increasing the customer share as well as managing the project pipeline through with the development organization
  • Ensuring complying services and realizing projects for the customer as well as working closely with multiple different functions within TE
     

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electromechanical engineering or a degree of comparable technical background
  • Minimum three years of experience in B2B sales, account planning and relationship management
  • Language Skills: fluent in German and English, French language skills would be a plus
  • Professional level of business acumen, good commercial and technical complexes understanding 
  • Knowledge of the Connectors, Relays, Wire&Cable in the Aerospace & Defense market as well as application, technical systems in this industry segment would be an asset
  • high level of self-engagement and motivation
  • Customer oriented behaviour
