Electrical Engineer (f/m/d)

Job Overview

As an Electrical Design Engineering, you will be responsible for developing electronic boards of our inductive sensors including translating customer specification into electronic specification, design, simulation, validation, release from concept phase to product validation and launch in production.

The Electronic Design Engineer in assigned projects will interact with customers, with internal cross-functional engineering teams across the globe and with external technical partners to develop the most appropriate electronic design to meet our customer requirements. The Electronic Design Engineer will develop and will maintain the inductive simulation as well as specifying the calibration of the sensor.


The Electronic Design Engineer will anticipate technology change by monitoring the market and solution from both competitions and suppliers and will ensure that proper benchmark is done including performance and cost analysis.

The Electronic Design Engineer will leverage a structured development approach such as Design For Six Sigma, applying electronic development best in class practices and Lean Product Development principles such as Front Loading, Risk Detection & Countermeasures and Set Based Concurrent Engineering … all to ensure the designed electronic meet technical, performance & product cost requirements, are completed on time and within the project budget.

The ideal candidate would be an experienced electrical design engineer for sensor products and specifically for inductive sensor products with a Design For Six Sigma certification.

What your background should look like:

  • Master’s degree in technical discipline (Electrical Engineering, Electronics)
  • 4-7+ years of development of electronic board for sensor products thru the full lifecycle developments (initial research & development though series launch) for automotive industry.
  • Experience in all aspects of automotive electronic design, development and deployment of automotive products … Electronic Specification, Design, Functional Verification, IC Verification, Qualification & Release
  • Experience with electronic supplier interactions (component vendors, PCB manufacturer) for electronic development
  • Experience with automotive customer interactions in developing sensor products
  • Experience in running simulations for inductive sensors.
  • Proficient in using Electronic design development tools and simulation tools
