Job Overview

  • Clarification and definition of product-related requirements with customers
  • Responsible for creating the product architecture (overall system architecture), including mechanics, antenna systems, electronics and software. Ensuring consistency between system architecture and customer requirements
  • Interface to the customer and maintenance of customer relationships
  • The Technical Lead has overall technical and professional project lead
  • Defining and planning architectural tasks and ensuring execution in terms of scope, time and quality
  • Monitoring of project implementation based on defined Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
  • Close cooperation with the hardware / software project manager and the overall project manager.
  • Working with the Customer Chief Engineer to resolve critical architectural issues.
  • Planning and implementation of relevant reviews
  • Technical management of customer requirements

What your background should look like:

  • University or technical college degree in engineering, preferably electrical, mechanical or software engineering
  • Well-founded experience in the methods and process models for the development of embedded systems in the automotive sector
  • Very good knowledge of the use of requirement management tools
  • Knowledge of architecture principles of different SW/HW architectures
  • Understanding of software quality according to ISO/IEC 12207 and DIN ISO/IEC 15504 (SPICE)
  • Experience with control units from the infotainment sector
  • Knowledge of system integration and system verification
  • Product knowledge of mechanical, electronic components and assemblies
  • Well-founded and business fluent English and German language skills
