Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Accounting Teams develop, implement and/or maintain one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Cash Flows, etc. in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures. They also design operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Tasks and responsibilities:

 

  • Costing and performing capital analysis across all project phases in terms of Return on Investment (ROI), Payback, Operating Income and Break Even Point
  • Support in the calculation of lifetime costs during all project phases; Optimization of cost cycles in cooperation with the most important business partners
  • Identification, analysis and reduction of cost drivers in close coordination with other departments
  • Implementation of continuous cost improvements and target costing
  • Calculation of production alternatives in terms of design, method and production location for EMEA automotive projects
  • Introduction of new multi-site costing methods for new product families and technologies at each production site
  • Further development and maintenance of existing costing systems
  • Close collaboration with project management, sales and marketing, product engineering, manufacturing engineering and purchasing

 

Your profile:

 

  • Completed technical college degree with economical and /or technical background required
  • Relevant experience in project costing, cost engineering or cost calculation
  • Professional process know-how about production processes required by product design
  • Ability to detect cost drivers based on either product design or manufacturing process
  • Ability to compare production alternatives, in terms of design and method
  • Motivation for drive continuous cost improvements and target costing
  • Passion to create cost transparency in all phases of product lifecycle
  • Ability to create customer-specific cost statements / disclosures
  • Experience in automotive industry will be high recommended
  • High motivation to collaborate within teams
  • Fluent German and English skills
