Job Overview

Manages molding department supervisors and molding teams, and provides daily direction, coaching, and leadership to supervisors to ensure department alignment with operational strategies.

Job Requirements

• Ensuring the molding team meets plant and departmental goals and that production conforms to all regulations, instructions, and standards.
• Overseeing the implementation of new processes, equipment, and products and leading the department's advancement and implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending improvements in molding designs, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.
• Ensuring that the key performance indicators are met and providing inputs support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team.

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
