Manages department supervisors and employees and provides daily direction, coaching, and leadership to supervisors to ensure department alignment with operational strategies.

Job Requirements

• Ensuring that the key performance indicators are met and providing inputs support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team.
• Planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.
• Overseeing the implementation of new processes, equipment, and products and leading the department's advancement and implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Ensuring the team meets plant and departmental goals and that production conforms to all regulations, instructions, and standards.

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
