Job Overview
The focus is on compliance within product design/development, sourcing, and procurement processes, specifically regarding how well our suppliers meet our compliance requirements. This compliance pertains to sustainability, including social aspects and part of the environmental pillars, and requires subject matter expertise. Candidates for these roles will be familiar with these nuanced differences. For example, experts in responsible sourcing would not apply for roles with a job description focused on strategic sourcing
- Subject Matter Experts
- Issue & Remediation management:
- Manages the audit program
- Includes accepting industry audit schemes
- Management of Supplier Compliance Questionnaires
- ALL require remediation
- Upstream prevention
- Upstream mitigation
- Upstream capacity building
- Downstream mitigation and exit
- Downstream capacity building
- Manages digital platforms, keeping data and scorecards current
- Communicates as a feedback loop to the Business Support branch
- Manages all supplier training
What your background should look like:
- Global experience in the manufacturing, semiconductor, and/or electronics industries.
- At least 15 years of core experience in both supply chain and a supplier-focused role.
- Preferably with a solid understanding of Supply Chain Compliance, including strategic alignment, business partnering, operational modeling, process optimization, data analytics, and expertise in training, coaching, and shaping culture
- Expertise in supplier relations, auditing, and capacity-building training.
- Knowledge of the supplier code of conduct requirements.
- Relevant experience with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA).
- Strong background in program management, people management, and stakeholder management
