Job Requirements
- The Project Data Management Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of global project tracking data across all manufacturing sites. Acting as the single point of contact for the Global Project Tracking Tool, this person coordinates with regional teams to collect and consolidate project information, maintain data accuracy, and support global reporting and analysis. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the primary owner and main point of contact for the Global Project Tracking Tool, ensuring all sites can access and update project data correctly.
- Collect project execution updates from all manufacturing plants across EMEA, AMAS, and APAC.
- Communicate regularly with Manufacturing Engineers, Manufacturing Engineering Managers, and Process Development Engineers to gather and verify project information.
- Get information from Excel-based project tracking files used locally by the sites.
- Transfer, validate, and consolidate project data weekly into the Global Project Tracking Tool, ensuring accuracy and completeness.\
- Identify data inconsistencies or gaps and proactively follow up with sites to resolve them.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data collection, reporting, and tracking processes.
- Ensure data integrity, version control, and confidentiality standards are consistently applied.
What your background should look like
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in data management, project coordination, or manufacturing project support.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation, and reporting).
- Experience using data tracking, reporting, or business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Smartsheet, SharePoint, or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to coordinate with stakeholders across multiple time zones and regions.
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple information flows simultaneously.
- Fluent in English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of project execution processes or manufacturing engineering workflows.
- Experience supporting or administering global data systems or shared reporting platforms.
