Job Overview

Master Data Analyst II manages the process for creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all SAP Material Master and production-related Master Data on SAP. Drives the implementation and coordination of SAP Part Creation Workflow systems and tools within the region. Duties include the timely setup of new part extensions, part changes, and master data updates in SAP. Monitors processes to ensure accurate and timely new part set-up, in line with BU BU-agreed target for part extension turnaround time (TAT) KPI’

 

Position reports directly to the Regional SAP Master Data Leader and/or the Global SAP Master Data Manager. Interacts with multiple levels and positions in Project Management, Product Management, Customer Care, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Material Planning, Finance, and Pricin

 

  • Creates Initial SAP Material Master views according to pre-defined standards and defaults at assigned TE Sensors Plants
  • Monitors part-level SAP MM, BOM, and Routing data entered by Master Data Providers is aligned with standards defined by Master Data Owners and TES Global Master Data Processes
  • KPI Reporting on data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of part creation processes for assigned plants
  • Drives corrective action and improvements through Master Data Owners at assigned plants
  • Supports Master Data Weekly Plant Level Reviews to ensure timely creation of new parts and processing of change requests.
  • Supports integration of acquisitions and SAP migrations to TES Global Master Data Processes, by participating in Local Implementation Teams
  • Contributes to standardize structure for Material Master, BOM, Routing, defaults, and templates at assigned plants in collaboration with Master Data Owners and in align with Regional and Global Master Data Processes
  • Participates in TEOA continuous improvement methodologies and lean principles in TES Global Master Data Processes at assigned plants
  • Provides first-level support to end users on SAP Material Master, BOM, and Routing-related inquiries at assigned plants
  • Supports ad-hoc cross-functional SAP-related issue investigation and resolution related to Master Data as required

 

What your background should look like:

Knowledge requirement

  • Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering methods and techniques, systemic and financial concepts related to manufacturing operations.

Software/Systems

  • Strong SAP background and operational experience required. MS Excel proficiency required. MS Access database management knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Robust oral and written communication skills. Strong time and organizational management abilities. Team player with the ability to work with cross-functional and multicultural groups, who can adapt to changing conditions and drive change.

Language

  • Fluent English Language, both written and oral skills are required. Regionally appropriate second language is a plus.

Education:

  • A bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or other related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Master Data, and process development, Supply Chain or related fields at manufacturing companies. ERP Systems and Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred.
