Job Overview

The Strategy & Transformation Office within Global Procurement at TE Connectivity is seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to drive high-impact digital transformation initiatives. The TPM will work closely with global stakeholders across Procurement, IT, business users, process owners, and cross-functional teams to enable innovation, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making. This role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the strategic modernization of procurement through technology and process excellence.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage strategic digital transformation projects within Global Procurement, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and timelines.
  • Collaborate with IT and functional leaders to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
  • Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle – from planning and business case development to execution, deployment, and adoption.
  • Establish and maintain project documentation, including charters, schedules, dashboards, and status reports.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Support procurement digitalization initiatives such as automation, analytics enablement, and system integration.
  • Standardize and enhance project governance, reporting, and metrics for Global Procurement programs.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and agile execution.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project or program management experience, preferably in procurement transformation or digital projects.
  • Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Supplier Management, and Spend Analytics processes.
  • Experience with Agile / hybrid project methodologies; PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital procurement tools such as SAP, Jaggaer, PLM systems, ServiceNow, and data visualization/analytics platforms like Power BI, Tableau, strong capability in MS Office Suite, and SharePoint.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional and global teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
