Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams design and execute long-term strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers, and systems to meet quality, delivery, price, and service targets. They collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, product management, and functional owners, to align strategy and execution. The teams manage competitive bidding, negotiation, contracting, and continuous improvement processes for their assigned commodities or services while working across business units and regions to leverage TE's global capabilities. Our teams are highly skilled in procurement, with expertise in business and supply chain management, negotiation, sourcing strategy, global operations, and project/product lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with TE’s policies and procedures.
Job Requirements

Onboarding procurement applications and processes

Initiating communication with suppliers and stakeholders

Providing help desk ticket support for suppliers

Tracking and analyzing data for product environmental compliance regulations

Monitoring and analyzing data for social regulations, including conflict minerals

Tracking and analyzing sustainability-related data

Training and addressing system challenges for B2B and the supplier base

Submitting inquiries to global vendors regarding compliance issues

Providing sourcing support to the core team

Bachelor’s degree (4-year program)

Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Tableau

What your background should look like
Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field or local equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible professional level experience
