Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.



  • Strong understanding of Material Resource Planning systems
  • Plan within MRP system to maintain acceptable inventory levels
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers (Internal & External)
  • Expedite purchase orders & tactical follow-up
  • Recommend initiation of supplier contracts
  • Order components & Finished goods
  • Maintain purchasing records and source list
What your background should look like:

Key Qualifications, Experiences and Knowledge:

  • 5+ years of Supply Chain / Buying Experience (Preferably Import buying)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in materials planning
  • SAP Experience
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to negotiate and influence the actions of others to achieve business goals
  • Rigorous, responsive, good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
