Job Overview

TE Connectivity is currently seeking a Plant Controller for our manufacturing facility in Mt. Joy, Pennsylvania, which is part of the Aerospace, Defense, and Marine business unit. We are looking for an exceptional Finance Business Partner to work closely with the plant manager and operational teams to execute plant strategy through insightful financial and business analysis. In this critical role, the Plant Controller will manage two direct reports and be responsible for analyzing and consolidating plant financial data that will guide plant decision making.

The Plant Controller will report directly to the Senior Manager Controller for the Connectors plant group within AD&M, who oversees financial responsibilities for six manufacturing plants. This role requires a high level of financial acumen and the ability to serve as a strategic partner to drive the plant’s financial performance.

Job Requirements

  • Coordinate, execute, and finalize the Actual, Quarterly, and Annual financial reporting processes. Conduct monthly/quarterly plant reviews with operational teams and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Identify and implement financial performance enhancements across all operational areas, including material spend, labor, overhead, and working capital.
  • Analyze all plant variances, including labor efficiency, Work Order Variances, Purchase Price Variances (PPV), and subcontracting activities, providing actionable insights.
  • Offer financial support and analysis for capital investment projects, capacity expansions, automation initiatives, and make/buy decisions.
  • Lead and manage the Financial Team with a strong focus on Talent Development.

What your background should look like

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline required.
  • 5+ years of finance experience, particularly in a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and be a key member of the plant leadership team.
  • Strong knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, cost accounting, and reporting, alongside strong financial analysis and forecasting modeling experience.
  • Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence principles.
  • Understanding of manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain functions.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, as well as advanced proficiency in Excel and BI tools.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $109,200 - 136,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
