The Aerospace, Defense and Marine (Aerospace, Defense and Marine or AD&M) business unit of TE is part of the Industrial Solutions segment (Industrial Solutions) and is a world leader in the design of components and electrical interconnection solutions that are used for applications in extreme and rigorous environments. What you will be doing...

As a member of our supply chain team this individual will focused on managing and overseeing the overall supply chain and strategic sourcing operations, while also providing leadership and team strategies. This role will also be responsible for leading key projects and driving cross-functional collaboration and accountability.   

                                                                                                    

 

As a Supply Chain Manager, a typical day may include:

 

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials, analyze delivery performance and ensure plant meets customer expectations
  • Monitor & maintain inventory, billings, delivery, quality and capacity
  • Lead Supply Review and active involvement in the S&OP process
  • Develop processes to maintain records in local MRP systems with long term plans to coordinate across plants and product lines
  • Drive LEAN initiatives TE Operating Advantage - with local and global teams
  • Support Supplier Management – Support development of commodity management process including risk assessment, development and capacity management
  • Lead Key metrics and lead scorecard reviews and strategic meetings.
  • Present to executive leadership summaries on open issues and projects including action plans and time lines for completion

What your background should look like...

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Business Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Supply Chain experience and at least 1 year of management experience
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and customers
  • Understanding of APICS standards
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with senior leadership
  • Project management/Process improvement experience

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with suppliers
  • Experience working with SAP
  • Working knowledge of Kinaxis, Rapid Response
  • APICS CPIM training or certifications
  • Connectors experience
  • Billings experience
