Wafer Fab Equipment Technician

Job Overview

Responsible for performing electrical and /or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems with non-functioning electromechanical equipment such as Test Equipment, Wafer Dicing Saws, Wafer Probers, diffusion furnaces, plasma etchers, and wet benches. This is an opportunity to grow in a world class operation with dedicated and experienced maintenance team.

Responsibilities

  • Hands on experience troubleshooting and maintaining MRL & Thermco Diffusion Furnaces (LPCVD & Atmospheric)
  • Hands on experience troubleshooting and maintaining plasma etching tools (Tegal 901/903)
  • Hands on experience troubleshooting and maintaining various types of wet process benches
  • Hands on experience troubleshooting and maintaining various types of backend equipment: test equipment, wafer probers, wafer dicing saws, visual inspection systems
  • Experience working on vacuum systems including: cryo, turbo and roughing pumps.

What your background should look like:

  • A.S. degree in Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience or the equivalent in education and experience.
  • Solid knowledge of test systems
  • Must be able to read blueprints and schematic drawings, along with the ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and instructions.
  • Good basic computer skills.
  • Hands-on team player committed to working in a quality environment.
  • Preferred:

Hours:

Swing Shift (8:30pm to 5am)
