Your main tasks

  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate closely with customers, including on-site visits, to identify their product and support needs. Promote TE Industrial Filters solutions, including Corcom and Schaffner products for new and existing applications.
  • Pipeline Management: Proactively drive and convert the sales pipeline with local sales teams and regional product management, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer requirements.
  • Design-In Support: Support customers in integrating TE Industrial Filters, including Corcom and Schaffner filters, into their solutions. Clarify product customization and testing needs, and coordinate with Product Management, R&D, and Laboratory teams to validate and realize these solutions.
  • Technical Requests: Address technical product and application requests from customers, showcasing TE’s technical expertise in collaboration with the Product Solution Center and the global FAE community, to build customer loyalty.
  • Voice of Customer (VoC): Identify mid- and long-term customer needs, create VoC documentation, and collaborate with Product Management and R&D on ongoing product development initiatives.
  • Product Development Support: Participate in product creation and value engineering projects within the Subvertical Filters unit, ensuring project outcomes meet customer and market requirements.
  • Product Training: Conduct product training sessions on Corcom and Schaffner filters for customers, sales teams, and technical support staff to enhance product knowledge and application effectiveness. 

Your ideal background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Additional commercial degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience, preferably in application engineering or other customer-facing technical roles, ideally in the field of Electrical Components for industrial applications, with experience in standards implementation and conducted EMI measurements.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements and assess business potential.
  • Proficiency in coordinating multi-functional technical support activities for customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes.
  • Experience influencing outcomes through collaboration and effective teamwork.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Italian and English; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Flexibility regarding workdays and regional travel (10-35%).
