Sales & Marketing Programs Manager

Job Overview

TE Connectivity is seeking a Sales and Marketing Programs Specialist to develop and drive the strategy and implementation of global programs. This role works closely with local sales teams and marketing teams to drive the development and utilization of best-in-class sales tools, collateral and communication.  The role provides substantive support to deliver the priorities of the sales teams. This role has high exposure and visibility and offers broad opportunities for professional growth and development.

What your background should look like:

Strategic development and implementation of Global Sales and Marketing Programs
•    Define, develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive revenue and sales effectiveness through our sales teams. Includes setting benchmarks, milestones and success metrics directly and indirectly tied to incremental revenue and/or customer growth.
•    Lead the development and execution of content organization and creation. Strong writing, editing and formating of content skills required.
•    Lead collection and analysis of “Voice of Customer” insights and inputs to provide the team with clear focus on identifying opportunities that will increase value and sales team’s effectiveness.
•    Leverage data and analytics to systematically provide product, inventory, and customer insights to sales and marketing teams. Strong analytical and data organization skills required.
•    Own the success drivers directly and indirectly tied to revenue growth. Role requires a self-starter motivated by achieving measurable results. 

Project Management of Sales and Marketing Programs
•    Organize and manage the project management of new initiatives from inception to execution and results.
•    Develop and manage detailed project management plans.
•    Work with internal and external vendors that manage and execute element of programs.
•    Have an understanding of sales and marketing tools and processes such as SalesForce.com and Tableau.
•    Leverage Excel, MS Project and other project management tools. Advanced analytics and Excel skills required to develop reporting.

Building consensus and alignment through reporting, presentations and communications
•    Advanced PowerPoint skills needed to develop clear and concise presentations to communicate program strategies and results to senior leadership. Including PowerPoint design skills.
•    Strong in-person communication skills to provide engaging and motivating communications to global audiences.
•    Distill complex data points and VOC into key insights that will drive actions.
•    Develop and manage program dashboards.

Drive Continuous Improvement
•    Seek and apply best practices to improve overall effectiveness and efficiencies, providing a framework to improve the path-to-success, return on investment and results.
•    Bring innovation and operational efficiencies to existing and new processes.
•    Seek and respond to VOC.
•    Relate, challenge, and assess underlying needs & issues.
•    Develop and implement new and innovative means of communicating content and data needed to drive sales growth.
