At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.
Job Overview
As a Senior Power Integrity Engineer, you will play a key role in simulating, developing, implementing, and verifying the power integrity of TE’s power solution portfolio. You will contribute directly to the design, validation, deployment, and support of advanced power distribution products for high-density data center infrastructure.
This role is intended for a fully qualified, experienced professional who can work under general direction, exercise independent judgment, and resolve a broad range of technical issues. The Senior Engineer is expected to own project-level analysis and validation deliverables, support customer and internal technical discussions, and help improve working methods within the team.
Job Requirements
• Design, validate, and characterize power conversion and delivery systems for large compute infrastructure under the guidance of Staff or Principal technical leaders where appropriate.
• Develop and support power distribution products such as cables, connectors, busbars, power shelves, and rack-level distribution interfaces for 800+ V and high-current data center applications.
• Create simulation models, execute simulation suites, analyze results, and document design recommendations for product development teams.
• Correlate simulation results with measured lab data and identify model, fixture, material, or design factors driving differences between prediction and measurement.
• Measure and characterize impedance, parasitics, AC response, voltage drop, ripple/noise, transient response, and thermal/electrical behavior of power products.
• Support hands-on testing, debugging, and root cause analysis for electrical issues found during development, validation, qualification, or customer evaluation.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to specify, procure, and validate components, samples, test fixtures, and supporting hardware.
• Prepare clear documentation, test reports, validation summaries, and design data packages to support product development and release.
• Participate as a core team member on projects and contribute to project-level technology and product decisions.
• Coach or train less experienced engineers and technicians on test methods, data analysis, and simulation workflows as needed.
