Job Overview

As a key member of the Connected Living Solutions Marketing team, the Senior Communications Specialist will lead the development and execution of strategic internal communications that drive alignment, engagement, and change readiness across the business unit. This role will also support communication strategies that address the unique needs of each sub-vertical within the business unit, while helping shape and deliver the voice of leadership for select external communications.

 

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and skilled storyteller who can translate complex information into clear, compelling content tailored to diverse audiences and channels—including written, verbal, and digital formats. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple priorities, and brings a proactive, collaborative approach to communications planning and execution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Communications & Change Management

  • Design and implement internal communication strategies that support business priorities, organizational change, and cultural transformation.
  • Partner with HR, leadership, and cross-functional teams to develop messaging that fosters transparency, trust, and employee engagement during periods of change.
  • Serve as a communications advisor to senior leaders, helping shape narratives and deliver impactful messaging across the organization.

Content Development & Channel Management

  • Create high-quality content, including executive messages, organizational announcements, talking points, presentations, and digital communications.
  • Tailor messaging for various internal audiences and platforms (e.g., intranet, newsletters, video, live events).
  • Support communication strategies that address the unique needs of each sub-vertical within the business unit.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Build strong relationships with business unit leaders, HR partners, sales, marketing, and communications colleagues across TE.
  • Coordinate with a network of “communications champions” across sites and functions to ensure consistent messaging and local engagement

Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor internal sentiment and external trends to inform communication strategies.
  • Track and analyze communication effectiveness to optimize future campaigns and initiatives.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, with a focus on internal and executive communications.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills across formats and audiences.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and speed.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a global, matrixed organization—ideally in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute communication plans that support organizational change.
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools (e.g., SharePoint, Canva, video editing, intranet platforms).
  • Experience using data and feedback to measure communication impact and inform strategy.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $88,200 - $120,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
