Rotation engineers will gain experience in the Product Lifecycle, from concept creation to development of product

Rotational engineers will understand manufacturing processes such as stamping, injection-molding, terminations, polishing and/or assembling using a variety of processes
Responsibilities
At TE Connectivity, you’ll be part of a global collaborative culture where your innovative approach and actions have the potential to transform the world of tomorrow. In this role you’ll:
• Development of innovative product design solutions
• 3D modeling and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Creation and evaluation of prototypes through additive manufacturing
• Hands-on testing to evaluate product performance against industry/customer requirements
• Evaluating design concepts through finite-element modeling and other simulations
Transforming concepts into a functional, cost-effective products
• Collaboration with manufacturing on design-for-manufacturability reviews to ensure products can be easily manufactured.
• Support manufacturing facilities in different locations around the world through design insight.
• Work closely with customers, sales, product management, advanced manufacturing, the model shop, and the test lab in a simultaneous engineering environment.

You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:
Have Received a High School Diploma or GED
• Are currently enrolled in a program or pursuing a BA/BS or MA/MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history. (In certain circumstances, students who are taking a gap year will be considered.)
• Have previous internship or large project experience is preferred
• Are authorized to work in the U.S.

Program elements include:
Timeline TE Connectivity recruits on campus between September and March for Rotational positions beginning in May. Once you have applied to a position, your resume and application will be reviewed. If you are selected to move to the next step in the application process, you will be contacted by a recruiter. Once you accept an offer, the onboarding process will begin in January for Rotationals who have committed to offers in the fall semester and upon acceptance for rotationals who have committed to offers in the spring semester.
