Key Projects

 

  • Gain real world experience – depending on the projects assigned, the candidate will be involved in various stages of the project, from the initial concept generation, to its implementation in TE manufacturing facilities 

  • Problem solve, learn and/or improve 3D CAD and analysis tools, such as, innovation  

  • Support ongoing innovation projects by Contributing and developing your own ideas with the support of a team 

  • Use of state-of-the-art equipment for quick prototyping and testing 

  • Design, analyze, and test new concepts and technologies 

  • Analyze manufacturing-related data 

  • Perform scouting and preliminary assessment of new-to-TE technologies and engineering tools 

What your background should look like

 

 

  • Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Program 

  • Majoring in Mechanical Engineering or another related major 

  • Must be graduating in or after August 2020 

  • Familiarity with CAD packages, 3D design experience preferred. 

  • Ability to read drawings 

  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and design of experiments 

  • Familiarity with Design for manufacturability

Internship Program Overview

 

Our internship program gives students the opportunity to work on valuable projects that contribute to the success of their team and build on their classroom experience. Throughout the 10-12 week program, interns will be provided with:

Our internship program is nationally based. If you are selected to interview, we will discuss location options. TE Offers a Housing stipend to assist with housing costs if you require relocation for the summer. We typically have positions in the following locations:
