Machining Technician Intern

Internship Overview

Our internship program gives students the opportunity to work on valuable projects that contribute to the success of their team and build on their classroom experience. Throughout the 10-12 week program, interns will be provided with:

As a Technician Intern on our Product Development Center’s team, you’ll have the opportunity to:

 

•    Work with and learn from a diverse group of highly skilled Tool and Die Maker/Technicians who produce working samples of connectors, housings, assemblies, tooling and gauges for our global  customers. 
•    Enhance your skill level for your next year of studies by hands on precision machining (as applicable to your current year of studies).
•    Gain valuable exposure to new processes which we use to produce newly designed customer electrical connectors.

What your background should look like:
  • Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
  • Enrolled in an Associates Degree Program, preferred Major of Computer Integrated Machining or Machine Tool Technology or Automated Manufacturing Technology
  • Previous experience with Machining, such as Milling, Drilling Press, Lathes and Surface Grinding
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited College for the duration of the Internship
