Global Digital Marketing Manager

Job Overview

Digital Marketing in the ICT BU has made significant progress in becoming a strategic partner for growth. It has gone through tremendous changes in its approach and organization. Much of the work has been foundational including developing skills of the team, developing campaigns tied to growth objectives, partnering with inside sales, and using e-commerce and social media as new go-to-market routes. Even with momentum building and quantifiable results, work needs to continue for global consistency, change management, and seamlessly integrated go-to-market strategies. In order to showcase the ability of Digital Marketing and drive business growth, we are looking for a Digital Marketing leader who can create the vision, communicate it across stakeholders and enable the team to realize it. This role, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Marketing will serve as a key leader on the ICT marketing team and engage directly with various senior leaders and executive team members across the organization.

In this role, the Digital Marketing Manager will oversee the global ICT Digital Marketing team in addition to contributing to the overall Marketing plan and execution in order to support and drive business growth. They will work closely with PM, Sales, Engineers, Center and Segment Marketing as well as the ICT Integrated Marketing team and creative agencies to implement and measure online strategies and programs, and strategic digital demand generation campaigns that drive business results through incremental leads and improved sales. The Digital Marketing Manager will need to partner with the Integrated Marketing Manager; together they will establish the strategy, orchestrate and execute the plan and demonstrate the impact of Marketing on growth.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities

Develop, execute and manage all global digital marketing programs and systems to deliver a superior user experience.
Manage strategy, planning and execution of digital deliverables for marketing campaigns leveraging search, email, social media and digital partnerships with objectives and measurable results
Develop strategy, manage and design relevant portions of TE.com and LADDinc.com including eCommerce and merchandising strategy on our platforms.
Oversee Sales & Marketing Automation processes, external digital activities and internal digital marketing tools & platforms such as SalesForce.com.
Be the marketing representative for the company-wide digital product data team working on ensuring full product data integrity and digital representation of product families, solutions and offerings on TE.com and LADDinc.com as well as partner sites
Leverage data and analytics to report out on effectiveness of digital marketing efforts across all platforms. Be able to articulate results to the ICT Leadership Team.
Guide and collaborate on the implementation of and reporting of TE.com product data, eCommerce and Sales & Marketing Automation process for the business unit including product merchandising, lead scoring models and reporting dashboards.
Coordinate across TE’s digital marketing teams for best practice sharing and TE.com new function deployments while owning all digital marketing processes for the business unit
Web migration strategy for any acquisitions
ICT contact database development working with the Segment team.
Print On-Demand and Literature App management
Budget management

Qualifications

•    This individual must be skilled in project management, cross-functional and matrixed organizations, working closely with BU Integrated Marketing, Product Marketing, Product and Engineering teams as well as Center, Segment Marketing Operations, Digital, Integrated Marketing, Brand and IT teams. 
•    The individual must be self-directed and able to flawlessly execute a high volume of projects that support a variety of different stakeholders on time and at budget.
•    Able to adapt quickly to changes in plans, goals or objectives and to both create strategic plans and execute tactical program elements.
•    Monitor, evaluate and integrate digital programs by providing analytics and data-driven insights on marketing effectiveness that allow the marketing team to continuously assess and refine digital programs.
•    Create and analyze monthly measurement reports, making recommendations to improve digital marketing effectiveness and impact.
•    Develop, execute and report on all digital aspects of global marketing programs leveraging search (SEO and SEM), social media, email campaigns and digital media to align with the efforts of integrated marketing campaigns and strategies. 
•    Manage and maintain the best user experience on TE.com and LADDinc.com for the business unit.
•    Manage digital campaigns to align with the efforts of integrated marketing campaigns and strategies.
•    Drive content integration strategies and optimization.
•    Work with the integrated marketing team to develop and curate content.
•    Ability to both push-back and champion vision of Marketing while prioritizing key initiatives.
•    Team development – focus on building immediate and long-term team success through development.

Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree
•    Analytical competency and ability to work with data
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe marketing tools, including experience with content publishing, CRM, and sales and marketing automation systems (Eloqua, SalesForce.com) required.
•    Experience with digital analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and conducting in depth analyses around audience segmentation, funnel analyses, and campaign analytics.
•    eCommerce and online sales / demand generation experience strongly preferred. 
•    Previous experience in multiple aspects of web or digital marketing, including following trends and industry players.
•    Strong reporting and analytics skills with ability to synthesize complex data points into simple, business-focused recommendations. 
•    Skilled writer and communicator with experience writing marketing content.
•    Experience in B2B marketing including creative agency management, messaging and value proposition development.
•    Experience working with external agencies.
•    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
•    Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and teams.
•    Self-directed and able to meet multiple deadlines and adjust to shifting priorities. 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to understand technical information. 
•    International experience and personality geared toward I&D – effective listening skills are critical to change management
•    Previous global and management experience is preferred.
