Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Product Management team is responsible for the full lifecycle of products—from innovation and development to manufacturing, marketing, and commercialization. This role will define product strategy, drive business leadership, and ensure capacity planning aligns with sales and profitability targets.
As part of the Data & Devices (DDN) business unit, the Micro Markets team is a key growth driver, focusing on enabling customers in broad industrial markets as they evolve their data connectivity needs for IoT and Edge AI applications.
The Director of Product Management – RF & Antenna will lead a team of Product Managers and own the overall product strategy, execution, and financial performance of the RF and antenna portfolio. This individual will operate with a General Manager (GM) mindset, ensuring strategic alignment across Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in product leadership, market expansion, and cross-functional collaboration across global regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Sensing & Strategic Planning
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive landscapes, and technology advancements.
• Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap with clear value propositions.
• Define a go-to-market strategy, including channel development and partnership initiatives.
• Establish a pricing strategy to optimize market positioning and profitability.
• Develop and execute the annual operating plan, including revenue and margin forecasts.
Product Development & Portfolio Management
• Lead new product development (NPD) initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market opportunities.
• Manage the product lifecycle, driving innovation, rationalization, and portfolio optimization.
• Plan and execute product launches, including marketing, sales enablement, and pricing strategies.
• Provide demand forecasting insights and collaborate with operations to ensure supply chain alignment.
• Partner with Sales to support customer engagements and drive new business opportunities.
• Own the P&L for the RF & antenna portfolio, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
Leadership & Talent Management
• Lead and develop a team of Product Managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing to align business priorities and drive execution.
• Influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership to gain buy-in on strategic initiatives.
• Act as a succession planning candidate for the Senior Director of the Micro market’s portfolio, expanding leadership into connector products.
What your background should look like:
• 10+ years of product management experience in RF, antennas, connectivity, or related industries.
• Strong strategic thinking with a proven ability to define and execute product roadmaps.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across global regions.
• Deep understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and business growth drivers.
• Excellent collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Demonstrated P&L ownership experience, with a track record of driving revenue and gross margin growth.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for market insights and decision-making.
• Experience working with OEMs, industrial customers, and technology partners to drive adoption and innovation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $187,000-281,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
