Job Overview

We are currently seeking talented professionals for our talent pipeline for future Payroll positions at TE Connectivity, available in different work modalities: Hybrid, On-site, and Remote

TE's Payroll teams prepare, document and disburse payroll checks, payroll taxes and employee benefit payments. They evaluate current systems, and recommend and develop operating efficiency improvements. They also serve as liaison to employees and third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies, monitor and ensure proper documentation of employee benefit payments and deductions and prepare reports illustrating payroll expenditures, including items such as tax payments and benefit plan disbursements.

Responsibilities:
•Strong knowledge for the following processes:
• Generate Fonacot payments
• Calculate monthly/bimonthly Social Security payments
• Calculate the Bimonthly Variable
• Sending movements to the IMSS (Additions, Deregistrations, Salary Changes)
• Involuntary Termination Process
• Provides support to ensure payroll is compliant.
• Helps with overall process optimization.
• Analysis of processed payroll, to identify areas of opportunity or confirm good calculation within the System
• Provides operations support in Payroll projects
• Supports Training in the Supervisors-Pre Payroll module
• Provides support for day-to-day payroll operations

Job Requirements

  • Reconciling payroll account totals by department, location, country, etc., and periodically auditing employee pay records and vendor payroll reports.
  • Maintaining payroll documentation and records, procedures, payment schedules, data back-up, tax filings, legal compliance, and updating data on HRIS/Payroll system.
  • Working with other HR departments and payroll analysts on payroll implementation, process improvements, optimizations, and resolution of escalations/issues.
  • Managing third-party deductions and employee contributions, calculating gross to net wages and associated differentials, and verifying payroll data before submission.

What your background should look like

• Bachelor's/Engineering in Administration or related.
•+5 years  of experience in the position or similar
• Excellence in customer service.
• Intermediate use of Excel
• Basic knowledge of the TRESS system

Basic knowledge for the following processes:
