Job Overview

As a Lean DFSS Six Sigma Master Black Belt (MBB) in TE Sensors Solution (TESS), your role will be instrumental in the implementation of Lean Design for Six Sigma Principles, Philosophies and Tools Regionally within our Engineering Organization driving product & process development (PPD) efficiency and effectiveness to enable significant R&D engineering growth.

You will be working with TESS Project Management Office (PMO), Business Unit Leadership and Regional Site R&D Engineering Managers to translate the TESS DFSS strategic vision into tactical project plans, deliverables and milestones driving engineering NPD growth. The candidate’s location is flexible, but the candidate must be based in a TESS manufacturing location. Travel is anticipated at 25-50% (some very minimal international travel may be required).

  • At least 5 to 8 years of experience in R&D Engineering Management, Project Management or Manufacturing Management
  • Preferred B.S. in Electronics, Mechanical, System or Materials Science Engineering related discipline
  • Six Sigma Master Black Belt certified by recognized organizations in the industry (e.g. ASQ, SME, Shing Prize) and proven leading NPD projects for a min of 5 years
  • Project and facilitation experience in a heavily matrixed environment
  • Experience in change management
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
  • Sensor Technologies development experience with embedded electronics
  • 10+ years of increasing responsibility in a variety of product development environments focused primarily on complex systems.
  • Leadership experience in management in a Product Development organization
